My dad got a great table and chair set years ago from a friend, and then found a rug he really liked to go under it. Unfortunately the fabric on the chairs clashed with the rug. Being the mellow guy he is, my dad never really got around to recovering the chairs, but on my recent home improvement kick I helped push him into it. Here are the steps and the final product!
